If you didn’t know Rush Limbaugh was a joke before, you do now.  I’m speaking of his all out, verbal attack on a young lady whom he disagreed with, calling her a “slut” and a “prostitute”.  You can read more here.

This represents what I hate about the political climate in the US today.  There is such vitriol and hatred directed to everyone who doesn’t agree with you.  I know you think you are right, but even those who don’t agree with you should be treated with respect.

I don’t read fiction very often, but I must admit The Hunger Games was pretty good!

Most interesting thing I’ve read about the Bin Laden wedding:

In keeping with conservative Sunni tradition, the wedding celebrations were an all-male affair. The bride was deemed to have consented to the marriage by traveling to Afghanistan, so her presence was not required.

Growth is looking back on work that you have done and being able to see how bad it is.
